Esta série de ilustrações junta os meus primeiros super heróis. Estão pensadas 18 ilustrações, mas claro que haverão mais aventuras para contar.
Começo por D. Afonso Henriques, o primeiro rei de Portugal e um homem baixinho mas de barba rija que foi por portugal abaixo quase de uma assentada para reconquistar as terras cristãs!
Depois temos D. Diniz, que fez tudo quanto quis, que gostava de trovas, literatura e ciências, mas também de plantar árvores em Leiria num pinhal mandado construir por outros reis.
E por fim temos D. João I, o primeiro da dinastia de Avis, amigo de Nuno Álvares Pereira e pai da ínclita gerão, conquistou Ceuta, iniciando a expansão marítima portuguesa.
A história de portugal, por terra ou mar, tem aqui um pequeno espaço para homenagear os heróis de tempos antigos. Oxalá os reis e descobridores de hoje fossem valentes assim...

Starting by D. Afonso Henriques, the first king of Portugal, a short man but with a hard beard that went all the way down in Portugal in almost one stroke to regain the Christian lands!
Then we have D. Diniz, who did all he wanted, who liked trovas, literature and science, but also liked to plant trees in a pine forest in Leiria built by other kings.
And finally we have D. John I, the first of Avis dynasty, friend Nuno Alvares Pereira and father of the illustrious generation, conquered Ceuta, initiating the Portuguese maritime expansion.
