São pedaços de muitas terras às quais associo muitos amigos e muitas memórias. É portanto, um bocadinho de muitos pedaços de Portugal, aqui em Istambul...

This time was for real. This is the second wall that I paint but this time i was not afraid to use the inks and as much wall I could paint. And the result is here. It's pieces of many places link to many friends and memories. So, I Can say this illustration is a little of many pieces of Portugal here in Istanbul...

Neste momento em que estou cheio de trabalho, tirei 5 minutos do meu tempo para pegar num pedaço de cartão, numa caneta e recordar todos os soldados da paz que perderam as suas vidas a proteger as vidas dos outros... É pouco, muito pouco, eu sei, mas estão todos na nossa mente. Este ano, o número excedeu os limites e este desenho é apenas uma árvore numa floresta de pessoas que vos agradecem por tudo o que têm feito...

Sei que vai ficar bem mas tenho sempre aquele medo porque afinal de contas, uma parede não é um papel. Seja como for, vai ser uma pena não poder levar a parede às costas...

What do you think of this little sketch that I'll make in the wall of our home? This will be my first illustration on a wall with reasonable dimensions. Because living far from home doesn't mean that you can't carry your home with you' I show here a little of Portugal in turkish lands. Começou o countdown para o casamento e tive de esperar quase meio ano para poder publicar esta imagem, repetida nos convites e noutros pormenores do casamento que ainda nem imagino. E esta é a razão para ter aparecido tão pouco pelo blog... É que, quem diria, um casamento demora muito a preparar :)... ora com licença...

A sogra da Karin é uma senhora muito simpárica que gosta muito de gatos. O que ela gostava de ter para os anos era não apenas esta tela desenhada por mim, a pedido da Karin. O que ela queria mesmo era uma casa com jardim e uma horta onde pudesse plantar flores, árvores de fruto, abóboras, alfaces, cenouras, batatas, etc. quem sabe se um dia este quadro irá ser colocado numa das paredes dessa casa com jardim...

The mothe in law of Karin is a very nice lady that likes cats very much. What she would like to have for her birthday it was not just this canvas made by me. But what she really wanted was a house with a big garden and a backyard where she could plant flowers, fruit trees, pumpkins, carrots, potatoes, etc... who knows if one day this painted won't be hanged in one of the walls of this house with a lovely garden...

Já conhecemos o Duarte. É aquele rapazinho que tem a mania de riscar pareces com lápis de cera. Ele costuma deixar sempre um lápis pelo caminho, mas desta vez parece que, ou gastou o lápis todo, ou tornou-se num mestre nas artes da ilusão.

We already know Duarte. He is that little boy that likes to draw lines in the walls with a crayon. He uses to forget a couple of pencils on the ways, but this time it seams that, or he wasted all the pencil or he became a master in the arts of illusion.

O meu primeiro trabalho com colagens (a sério) sobre a natureza. gostava de me lembrar destes temas no dia da árvore ou no dia da terra, mas a verdade é que deixo sempre passar essas datas que me ajudariam a imaginar o que desenhar. mas enfim, há mais datas importantes para ilustrar :)

My first illustration with patchwork about nature. I would like to remember these subjects in tree day or earth day, but the truth is that I always forget about these dates that would help me to imagine what to draw. Anyway, there will be more days and special dates to illustrate :)

Uma casa que até podia ser do pricipezinho, se a casa dele fosse mais feia do que esta. Mas não é. Até tem vulcões e uma rosa. esta aqui só tem couves brancas que parecem invisiveis, dependendo da posição de onde se olha. Mas fora isso, a casinha nem esta má de todo, pois não?

One house that could be the one of petit prince, if his house was huglier than this. But it's not. It even has vulcanoes and a rose. This one only has white cabbages that seem to be invisible, according to the position where you look from. But besides that, it's not so bad, no?
